So I Did a Thing…
For the past 6+ years, I have been working on a thing.
It felt like a Junior High relationship at times. One day I loved this thing and the other day I hated it.
But have you ever had something in your heart that, even if you tried to ignore it, that thing just wouldn’t leave you alone?
That’s what this thing was for me.
What is this thing I’m talking about?
That thing is a book that I wrote called “Life is Calling” and I am so excited (and a wee bit terrified) to finally release it into the world.
It has taken me over 6 years to finish.
I’ve thrown away 3 full manuscripts.
And it’s very possible that at least 1,000 cups of coffee helped caffeinate this dream of mine.
But today, finally, I get to start sharing “Life is Calling” with the world.
The story of the ancient patriarch, Abraham, has always inspired me. Not because he was a perfect man. He was far from perfect and that’s sort of the point. He was an ordinary person, but he did an extraordinary thing:
He said “YES” when life called him into the unknown.
And I don’t believe that the voice of Life called only Abraham. I believe that Life is calling ALL of us — including you. I wrote “Life is Calling” to help you say “no” to a life of existence so that you can start saying “YES” to a life that is fully alive.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that I finally finished this book after a year like 2020. Because now as your life begins to reopen, you have a serious question to ask yourself:
Will you go back to the way things were or will you say YES to the voice of Life that beckons you forward into something new and beautiful?
